What Cause the Vibration of the Marine Pumps

There are many reasons for the vibration of the pump room and unit.Here are a few reasons for the vibration of Marine pumps.

1. Electric problem,. If the motor is misaligned inside, it often causes vibration. For example, when the asynchronous motor runs, the magnetic center of the stationary rotor is different and the deviation will cause periodic vibration and noise.

2. Machinery. Poor quality of motor and water pump, rough manufacture and damage of sealing parts can also cause vibration.

3. Hydraulic problem. Pump inlet velocity and pressure are imbalance, and the working fluid flow around, and erosion, etc., are very easy to cause water pump`s vibration, and vibration noise is inevitable. The opening, stopping or emergency stop of the pump will cause the pressure change in the water pipe which will also cause the vibration of the Marine pump.

4. Others. The design of the unit is defective, and the flooding degree of the water pump is not correct with other equipment parts, the condition of water inlet is poor,all will cause the vibration of the pump room.
